Primal Love

Several times this Valentines Day we have come back to 1 Corinthians: “Love…it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.”  Love hears no evil, speaks no evil, sees no evil. Where the three wise monkeys turn a blind eye to wrongdoing (and put a lie to their “wisdom”), Newport’s winged hearts exemplify the pure nature of love: meek, kind, and equipped with the thickest rose-colored glasses.
