Solidly in the tradition of the 1950s-60s Pop Art movement, (Unfinished Wrench) elevates a homely subject matter to the plateau of art. (Wrench) also challenges our perception of space, creating a form that could not exist in three dimensions, an “impossible object” that can neither be constructed nor, apparently, painted.
